Why this matters

Equation recall is only one part of physics. Learners must identify which model applies, distinguish vector and scalar information, handle units and connect the result to a physical explanation.

Select the relationship because its assumptions and quantities match the problem.

03Convert and solve

Use consistent SI units unless the route or question specifies otherwise, then show the rearrangement clearly.

04Interpret

Attach units, direction where relevant and a sentence explaining what the value means.

Common mistakes to avoid
  • Choosing an equation because it contains the visible symbols.
  • Converting units after substitution.
  • Giving a magnitude when direction or explanation is required.
